In "Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm" at the Brooklyn Museum, bassist and one of the group's two lead singers, Sir Paul McCartney, is showcasing more than 250 of his own photos that capture the intensity of this historic moment as well as the quiet, intimate moments unseen by millions of fans. May 3rd is when the concert opens.

The show, which debuted at the National Portrait Gallery in London, consists of photographs, film clips, and archive material from The Beatles' concert hall appearances in Liverpool and London through their international tour, which first stopped in Paris before heading to the US. McCartney photographed landscapes, candid moments, and portraits while traveling from hotel to hotel and venue to venue. According to the museum, there are allusions to photography, the New Wave, and documentaries in this exhibition.

There are pictures inside that show the pressures of touring, the continuous attention from the media, and McCartney's bandmates, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon, who were going through a period of profoundly transformative change in their lives. The museum claims that the show offers a very intimate glimpse into their life, akin to a family album.

According to Catherine Futter, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Senior Curator of Decorative Arts, "Paul McCartney has built a strong, everlasting connection to the city since first arriving in February 1964." "The energy of the city, the enthusiasm of the American fans, and the frenzy of the band's status as celebrities are all captured in his vivid images from The Beatles' first visit. However, the pictures also capture The Beatles' joy and enjoyment of one another. We experience the intensity of being at the center of such extraordinary events through McCartney's lens.

The Bloomberg Philanthropies-sponsored exhibition "Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm" debuts at Brooklyn Museum on May 3 and runs until August 18.
