-On the 25th of October 1965, The Beatles met Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham palace.
(I sadly got the date wrong on literally the first line of the video ????)
-John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr became Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBEs).
-The Beatles also met the Queen Mother and Princes Margaret after their show at the Prince of Wales theatre in 1963.
-John Lennon returns his MBE in 1969 / The Duke of Edinburgh talks about The Beatles / Paul and Ringo knighted / Paul McCartney's relationship with the queen.
