Tennessee-born musician Gabe Dixon had the opportunity to play keyboards on Paul McCartney’s “Driving Rain” album in 2001, as well as perform at the historic “Concert For New York” with Paul and many iconic musicians. Gabe discusses his musical background with Ken, and how the Beatles, Elton John, and Billy Joel were major influences in his playing and songwriting, and what the experience was like to create new songs in the studio with Paul. From 1998 to 2010, and after being discovered by producer David Kahne, the Gabe Dixon Band recorded and released 2 albums and an EP, and this was happening while Gabe worked with Paul in 2001. Since 2011, Gabe has released 2 solo albums, recently issuing several singles (see below,) with a new album, “Lay It On Me” due out June 25, 2021. Gabe’s new album will available in all formats: LP, CD, Digital and for streaming.
