Tina Turner (1939-2023) was an iconic American-born singer, known as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll." Born Anna Mae Bullock in Tennessee, she rose to fame in the 1960s as part of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Their hits like “River Deep – Mountain High” and “Proud Mary” made her a star, but she left the abusive relationship with Ike in 1976.
