Tina Turner, a cultural icon who passed away on May 24 in Switzerland at the age of 83, is still sorely missed around the globe. Turner left behind a remarkable legacy and a huge body of music, and in the wake of her passing, admirers from all over the world have come to hear her songs. As a result, her presence has returned to multiple Billboard charts, and she even makes an important list for the first time.

Turner debuts this week on the Billboard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. She earns three victories on the list, which keeps track of the rock songs that sell the most copies each week in the US.

"Proud Mary" is ranked highest among Turner's hits on this week's Rock Digital Song Sales chart. Notably, the version that tops the charts this time around is her solo performance, not the Ike & Tina Turner-credited version that first made the song popular. At No. 5, "Proud Mary" debuts.

"Better Be Good to Me" joins the Rock Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8 behind "Proud Mary." "It's Only Love," a duet with Bryan Adams, makes its premiere as Turner's third single this week and debuted at No. 25 decades after its original release.

It may seem odd that Turner hadn't previously scored on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart while being a rock and roll pioneer, particularly for women of color. However, this particular ranking wasn't established until well after her peak, and many of her biggest singles had already achieved success on other Billboard charts by the time it was established. As a result, her music has only just been included on this particular list. Older musicians frequently make such posthumous Billboard chart debuts because their passing causes a spike in sales and streaming of their music.

This week, Turner also appears on other Billboard lists, with some of her well-known songs making their return and others making their debut. Turner's catalog spans several genres, including R&B, pop, and electronic, whereas the Rock Digital Song Sales chart is only for songs that are considered to be rock.
