**A ROYAL WATCH COLLECTION: THE WATCHES OF ELVIS PRESLEY | COLLECTION REVIEW**

In this week's COLLECTION REVIEW, Christian dives into a royal watch collection - that of the KING himself, Elvis Presley!

Now, if you've been living under a rock and don't know, Elvis is one of the true faces of American Rock and Roll music, and is also potentially the single most impersonated person on planet Earth. That aside, he's also one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century, so it's no wonder we're here to talk about his watches.

So what did he own? Well, for starters, here's a classic: his late 1950s or early 1960s Omega Constellation. The fact is, a black gilt dial means even aside from the fact that it belonged to Elvis, it just demonstrated insane taste. Now, for a Rolex that is the opposite of classically designed - the Rolex "King Midas", a bizarre rectangular piece that was, originally, the most expensive Rolex watch ever produced.

From there, we head off to something understated in the form of Elvis' CLASSIC Hamilton Ventura, an early example of product placement at large, but a true legend in its own right with that strange case shape and its funky electronic movement.
