The Memes of SingSing

Once upon a time, a long time ago in a faraway land, where metas were fun and heroes were balanced, the legends of Dota were born. Today, we tell the tale of one of the mostly lost treasures of Dota, SingSing. SingSing is a name that you may not see often in Dota these days, but he has been there from almost the beginning, making his first TI appearance at TI2 with Mousesports
While skilled as a pro, he is most remembered for certain iconic moments, like the birth of the Sheever Ravage. And have you ever heard the sage advice shoot arrow, hit arrow? Singsing was the inspiration for over half a decade of mirana memes. And while he may have retired a while back, he still makes the occasional appearance, making sure his sage mirana ways aren't lost to time

SingSing never won a TI, so sometimes people forget his pro career. But he saw incredible success on the original Cloud9 roster with Envy, Aui, Pieliedie, and fata. The roster that came 5-6th place at TI4 and was once known as Speed Gaming when they won the MLG Championships in 2013. After his Cloud9 days, Sing bounced around a few places, landing on Burden United, Team Tinker and Kaipi. As sometimes serious and sometimes memestack teams, Sing mostly played online tournaments and qualifiers, but never saw the success of the previous Cloud9 roster. He announced his retirement in October of 2016. If the interviewer seems shocked - it's because this announcement came completely out of nowhere. While the whole team was watching, Sing made the announcement mid interview. Shortly after, the team disbanded.
But enough about his pro days, Sing is best known for his personality. Whether it is getting jebaited or masterful interview answers, tournaments and the Dota directory aren't the same when he's not playing Dota. But on that topic of his retirement, Sing is one of the few names who made it out of Dota, but stayed on as a streamer and entertainer, continuing to stream to this day. Unfortunately, he continued to get death threats and harassment from the community for his choice to leave it.
Hopefully, that hasn't continued, and today we can celebrate the memes and history
of the one and only Beaver Knight Sing Sing.
