A full hour of classic Sound Blaster PC tunes. Not a "Best of" nor a "Top 10" list, but rather a sampling of memorable, classic game themes. Hope you all enjoy it!

All of the music was recorded directly from a 90s PC equipped with a Sound Blaster AWE32 card - one of the original ones stamped 1993 (it's a 14inch long 16-bit ISA card, it barely fits in the desktop case!) that provided its Sound Blaster 16 FM compatibility through the addition of the same Yamaha OPL3 chip - this means that this model of the AWE32 was essentially the best SB16 model enhanced with wavetable and (flaky) midi capabilities. The model card used is CT2760, if you want to use it as a comparison for other models of the AWE32 - they do differ pretty greatly in sound quality across the several hardware revisions. The 2760 is by far the best in my opinion.

The video is mostly recordings of games playing through the SB16 Extended driver, allowing full use of the effects and stereo effects available on the OPL3. The last ten minutes or so are tunes recorded using "Advanced Wavetable Effects" processor, and are marked with an AWE32 logo in the corner.
