Inspired by a friend, I decided to make a video highlighting the songwriting, production, and stylistic differences in music between the 1970s and 1980s. Some of the differences between decades is downright jarring, and often humorous. I made this purely for observation/education; I hope a good discussion gets going, but I don't intend for the video to be a catalyst for a '70s vs. '80s trolling war. All of these songs come from CDs I bought, and are of bands that I thoroughly enjoy (through both decades). I do not own any material in this video, image or song.

This video takes advantage of fair use, and is intended for educational purposes. Thanks for watching, Volume 2 coming soon (hopefully). Also, suggestions for bands to do in the future are welcome.
