Doctrine and Covenants 12-13; Joseph Smith—History 1:66-75 | February 8-14
Lesson 7—February 7
“Upon You My Fellow Servants”
#D&C #comefollowme #comefollowme2021 #realtalkcomefollowme
Have you ever wondered what the symbols in D&C 12:2-4 mean? Have you also wondered how to make your Come, Follow Me lessons a little more interactive and fun for your kids?
Scott invites you to grab some paper and pencils and play Pictionary for these verses. Have your kids take turns drawing the following symbols:
• Sword (God’s word)
• Wheat (people ready to hear God’s word)
• Sickle (tools used for gathering)
• Treasure (things worth guarding)
• Door (revelation, new opportunities)
This week’s episode is also about an angel conferring the Priesthood of Aaron to Joseph and Oliver. To learn more about angels, we encourage you to go watch the Tim Ballard episode of @realtalkcomefollowme and to also watch the @goandbeshow episode with Ashlee Miller.
Invitation: Share your baptism experience with us. We want to know how you felt, who was there, what it was like, and we would even love pictures!
