Priscilla Presley says her former husband Elvis was a "very special human being" as she reflected on their relationship and his life.

"He [Elvis] just loved his music, he loved to sing, he loved to entertain people," Ms Presley said while talking to Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan in a wide-ranging interview.

"I was the one he trusted, more I think, than anyone," she noted.

"The trust factor meant a lot to him, a lot.

"And to this day there are things that I hold to my heart and I won't give up."
