A star-studded benefit concert has taken place at New York's Madison Square Gardens to help victims of Superstorm Sandy, which devastated whole communities along the US's northeast coast.
Performers such as Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon-Jovi and the Rolling Stones put on a grand show with the concert lasting nearly 5 hours. The money raised by the concert, over USD 30 million, will go to groups hardest hit, with New Jersey expected to be receive around 40% of the proceeds.
