Welcome back! Today we are singing one of my favorite Christmas ballads of all time. This song is video #4 in our #CovidChristmasCovers and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Merry Christmas Darling was written and sung by the Richard Carpenter of the Carpenters and his cowriter was Frank Pooler. Karen Carpenters voice was so deep and rich and I have always felt a connection to her music because I have such a deep voice. Women in the 80's and 90's (the years I was growing up) didn't sing low and deep, or at least I didn't think they did but Toni Braxton and ever Tina Turner helped me to feel like my voice could be accepted by the world.

Ok so once again I will remind you that these videos are to bring Christmas Joy so make sure to remember that this time of the year doesn't have to be dark or bleak. It can be beautiful no matter your circumstances! I am sending my love to you all!
