"Mean Woman Blues" was written by Claude Demetrius, and recorded by Elvis Presley for the soundtrack of the 1957 film “Loving You. When the song was released for the jukebox market in 1957, it reached number eleven on Billboard’s "Most Played in Jukeboxes" R&B chart.

Six years later, Roy Orbison recorded it and released it as a single. It too was a hit, peaking at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

My cover here is based on the Elvis musical arrangement used in the “Loving You” movie … I hope you enjoy it!
