In 1970 Angela and her husband Larry were staying at a hotel in Florida on vacation. Elvis Presley was staying in the same hotel. He had to walk right by her room to get to the lobby. Angela encountered Elvis and his entourage coming down the hallway and asked him for his autograph. To her surprise, he graciously signed his name on one of her postcards. He did not pull away but stayed and talked for several minutes. Larry stood by with his camera. Then something happened that every female fan dreams about. Elvis put his arms around Angela and kissed her. Larry was so stunned that he forgot to snap the photo. That photo would have been priceless. Angela has cherished that moment forever. Tommy singing.
