Abbey Road on the River is America's biggest and best Beatles-based music fest, and it features 60s (and even 70s) music beyond The Beatles. In 2016, many artists put together a show as a tribute to The Wrecking Crew by performing hits that were recorded using studio musicians from the Crew. In 2017, the AROTR's own "Wrecking Crew" went beyond old Wrecking Crew songs for a Summer of Love tribute, featuring songs from 1967.
Here, the band did The Rolling Stones classic Let's Spend the Night Together, led by singer Fernando Duarte of the group The Starclubbers.
The backing band included Damian Fanelli (of The Blue Meanies) on lead guitar, Peter Conrad on rhythm guitar, J.R. McNeely on bass, Kevin Ashba on keyboards, and Stan Bullock (of Never Mind the Bullocks) on drums. Backup vocalists were Felipe Coe of The Starclubbers and Joe Orlando of the Cryers.
