In the August 1963 BBC interview, the band was asked about their future and how long they believed their fame would endure. After all, some bands don’t always last. Lennon quickly responded with quote "You can be big-headed and say, 'Yeah, we're gonna last ten years.' But as soon as you've said that you think, 'We're lucky if we last three months,' you know."
McCartney responded when it came to playing their songs, he was not sure how long they could keep it up. Paul said that they couldn't keep playing songs like "From Me To You" forever, and said quote, "At forty, we may not know how to write songs anymore."
