Both Khmer man and woman who are 50 or 60 years old have really known him up to now. He was realized as King of Golden Sound in decade of 50s, 60s and 70s. He produced thousand and thousand songs. However, unfortunately he was died without where his body was in the Pol Pot’s regime. We are feeling we are sorry for the loss of his life, but we still feel that we may hear his voice forever.
We recognized that his voice has been popular so far. Khmer citizen not only domestic, but also overseas still listen to his song and considered that his voice is nice, soft and charming, and it is no any voice comparable with his voice from the past to the present time. The songs will be remained and kept as following from one to another generation. Indeed, we do hope this voice will be everlasting with our new generation. As for Mrs. Ros Sereysothea, she was super star among women’s singers in decade of 60s and 70s and we still love her song and voice until now. So, we hope all of Khmer both domestic and overseas may love all Khmer oldie songs and keep them forever in their daily lives and social activity.
Talking about the other female song star, Mrs. Pen Ron had been also the popular women singer star in decades of 60s and 70s, but we are really sorry for their fate because those were killed by Pol Pot's cliques without any mistakes. As for Keo Sarath, he was new singer, but his voice is comparable with old singer, for example, Sin Sisamuth and other old singers in decades of 60s and 70s indeed. We wish to all of singers live in heaven without meeting any issues such as past calamity forever. Thanks
