I Put a Spell On You is the opening track from Creedence Clearwater Revival's eponymous debut album, released in 1968.

The song was written by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, whose original recording of it was released in 1956.

This video makes extensive use of archival footage from the 1968 Democratic Party Convention, the Vietnam War, and most importantly, interviews with ordinary Americans from '68 that were conducted and preserved by David Hoffman on his YouTube channel, contained within a video entitled "Vietnam Vets Came Back With Very Different Experiences.
