There have been many different versions of the song 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine but none compare to Creedence Clearwater Revival's (CCR).

CCR's version filled an entire side of the album and made for a pretty good workout for those that danced to it and while many would when the song started usually only the most committed would make it through...the grapevine.

Rocker Talker spent many a night in the dens filled with smoke and rock music and for a time CCR's songs such as 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' and 'Ooby Dooby' were a staple of the "rock n roll world". Rocker Talker's take/story on these songs will have you saying "I'm glad I heard it"!
