Hi you sweethearts,

This is the accompanying video for Track 11 of my debut album, 'In The Absence Of Colour', out in full on August 20th. I think everyone knows someone who this song could be written about or for. It's about remembering that depression can morph someone you love beyond recognition; but they're still the same person, worth standing by and fighting for. If you weather the changes, and show them love through it, the sadness may just lose its grip on them and the real person within will return. Heavy stuff I know, as you can imagine it took me a while to finish writing this one.

A massive thank you to the incredible Steve Dear (@stevedearmusic), who co-arranged and recorded this with me over a weekend, and gave a hyper-emotional performance on piano that could give the most hardened folks shivers. He is truly a wizard at conjuring sensitive piano magic.

Stay tuned for 'Sacrifice', the other track recorded with Steve, premiering on YouTube on August 13th. It will be the final track (12) and closer to the album!
