Upon his passing, Glen Campbell left behind his widow Kim, as well as their three children. For his loved ones, seeing Glen succumb to Alzheimer’s disease was a long and arduous process. By the time Glen finally passed, those closest to him were glad to see that he was finally at peace. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the grieving process came easy. One thing that helped Kim while she was trying to process her husband’s death was working on the creation of the Glen Campbell Museum. Glen’s widow announced the creation of the museum just two years after his passing, and the museum is now open in his home base of Nashville.

The Glen Campbell Museum showcases memorabilia from over the course of the country-music legend’s career, and it also houses a modest performance venue by the name of the Rhinestone Stage. With the venue being named after Glen’s hit song “Rhinestone Cowboy”, Kim believes that the Rhinestone Stage will help keep country music alive in Nashville for many years to come. Glen and Kim’s three children are Cal, Ashley, and Shannon, and all three of these kids have become successful musicians in their own right.

Cal is a studio musician that works with such notable artists as Beck, mirroring his father’s early days as a studio musician working on tracks for Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. Meanwhile, Shannon is a founding member of her own rock-and-roll band. Of Glen and Kim’s three kids, it’s Ashley who followed in her father’s footsteps the most by becoming a solo country artist.
