Elvis Presley donated $5,000 to help complete the Nading-Presley Memorial Gym  in 1971.

Elvis gave Denver Chief of Police George Seaton a check to fully equip a gym in honor of slain officer Merle Nading.

The gym was located at 3555 Colorado Blvd. as part of the District 2 station.
and was named the Nading-Presley Memorial Gym after a slain officer.
