Martin “Marty” J. Locker
Born on January 3, 1937.

Marty was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Memphis in 1952,
and he attended Humes High School.

Marty, served in the United States Army.
He was one of Elvis' best friends and was chosen as one of two best men at Elvis' wedding to Priscilla Presley in 1967.

Marty Lacker worked with Elvis in many roles, including bookkeeper, secretary, and sounding board.

After Elvis' death, Marty Lacker shared his memories and insights about Elvis in books and DVD productions.
He also wrote a book with his wife Patsy called Elvis, Portrait of a Friend.

Marty died February 13, 2017.
