DOWN ON THE CORNER
This catchy tune came out in 1969, the year I was born. I didn't really know it all that well until the late 80's, when Tom Weir (Andy Weir's dad) started talking about how he loved Creedence Clearwater Revival, a great band from the 60's and 70's. I felt it was timeless then, as well as now. John Fogerty was the front man for CCR and was later responsible for the 80's hit single "Centerfield."
Here's my pop-reggae rendition. Enjoy with plenty of sunshine and a lawn chair!
