Cover version 4 of the great Creedence Clearwater Revival's Long as I can see the light. I have added a couple more instruments then added some effects and EQ along with the panning left and right.

For the record it was only in May 2022 that my brother Andy came round and showed me how to ‘drive’ a digital recording desk that I’ve had since 2007 mainly for recording OBM and was never used for one reason or another.

Prior to that I was just a rhythm guitar player in a band with no experience whatsoever of playing bass guitar, drums, keyboards or singing let along doing the lot.

This was all just a fun project when I retired to see how far I could take making some music. Someone suggested to write and do my own stuff. Well, let us just get a wee bit more comfortable and skilled with it all first. Everything so far (Demo 4) is based upon the initial tracks I laid down in May and June last year (2022).

I would then love to start afresh on some real classics like Eric Clapton’s Layla, Pete Townsend’s Pinball wizard, some CCR, some Bowie and maybe even some Hendrix like Highway Chile, Fire, Hey Joe etc. I will keep you posted on progress.
