"Bad Moon Rising" is a song written by John Fogerty and performed by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It was the lead single from their album Green River. The song peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart for 3 weeks. It was CCR's 2nd gold single! It has been recorded by at least 20 different artists in many different styles. "Bad Moon Rising" uses weather imagery to make the point the something bad is lurking "out there", and Fogerty claims the song is about "the apocalypse that was going to be visited upon us." He was inspired by the story of The Devil and Daniel Webster, a 1941 film that follows a farmer who makes a deal with the devil to save his land and crops, selling his soul in the process. Thanks much for watching and I hope you comment, like, and subscribe if you like my covers. Kindest Regards....Steve
