This is APRIL SUN and their album is titled 'BARI-KE'.Formed in the late 70s,APRIL SUN was a popular rock group made up of black and white Papua New Guinean musicians who captivated die-hard rock fans with their music.
Their lead singer,Henry Peni,is from Ngavalus village in Kavieng,New Ireland Province who later pursued a solo career.
New Ireland Province became the group's home after they left Port Moresby.
This fantastic cassette titled "BARI-KE" was recorded in February 1979 at a Tennis Court owned by the Port Moresby Dental College.
