"EVOL" is a powerful alternative rock track, significantly heavier than most of the songs by Alice Goes to Motherland but still melodic and catchy. "EVOL" is a twin-brother of the band's previous single "Adore" and tells the same story of obsessive relationships but from the other side. It's a story told by a villain, a sadistic anthem of someone who can only express affection in the language of violence. In this music caring becomes confused with control, gentle touches are replaced by fists and love turns into hatred.

Today such topics as domestic violence and abuse are finally being publicly discussed. Old phrases like "love is blind" and concepts of loving as owning are now being reconsidered. Today we can ask ourselves what the true love is and agree that it's never humiliation, rage or assault. EVOL is an attempt to show wrath from the inside, dressed in rightness, which it mustn't have no more.
