The historic Magnolia House in Greensboro, NC was one of the first hotels for Black Americans during segregation. It was one of the stops featured in a guidebook for safe road trips for Black people in the Jim Crow era, called The Green Book. Lots of famous people have stayed here, like James Baldwin, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Jackie Robinson and more.
